My very favorite painting that I saw in the museum. It might not be completely visible, but the artist really captured the moment of just on the verge of tears, she's not crying but just about to, at least that's how I interpreted it. The music she's reading is an actual song - and according to one of the guides that passed by, it's a love song. The Lute Player c. 1595
